KSCA Fall Conference

The Kansas Speech Communication fall conference is the premier professional development opportunity for speech and debate teachers and coaches in Kansas. Whether you are a veteran coach or brand new, there are ample opportunities at the conference to immerse yourself in event-specific growth, mentorship opportunities, rules change proposals and meetings, engaging classroom content, building a healthy team culture, and tips and tricks on hosting a successful tournament– there truly is something for everyone. There are also opportunities to have audience and collegial conversation with the organization’s representatives to KSHSAA, ensuring a healthy and prosperous future for Kansas speech and debate.

Fees vary from $90 for just the conference sessions (no food) to $165 with meals, including the highlighted keynote dinner, where we also recognize outstanding colleagues as educators of the year, and present special lifetime achievement hall of fame inductions to a group of colleagues past and present who have gone above and beyond as teachers, coaches, leaders and sources of inspiration. The 2023 Conference is at Wichita State University, but the location rotates annually.
